Jerry is a miniboss in Snowdin.

Profile

Appearance

Jerry is a purple monster with wiry arms, four legs and a body shaped like a flying saucer. It has beady eyes, swollen lips and a seperate pair of rectangular eyes on the wider portion of its body. It holds a cell phone in its left hand, which it loses after its battle in Snowdin Forest.

Upon its return in Mettaton’s Battle of the Ages, Jerry transforms. Its arms grow comically large muscles and its face contorts into a grotesque expression of anger.

Main Story

Jerry first appears in Snowdin Forest, where its cell phone signal is interfering with a puzzle, thereby preventing Frisk and Papyrus from progressing. Papyrus asks it to leave for a moment so they can complete the puzzle, to which it refuses. Exasperated, Papyrus activates the puzzle terminal’s “Anti-Jerry Defences”, which fail to work due to Jerry’s phone signal. In a ploy to drive it away, Frisk tries to snatch Jerry’s phone while Papyrus reboots the terminal; a process hindered significantly by Jerry‘s cell signal. After being hit by a snowball thrown by Frisk, Jerry drops its phone, prompting Papyrus to snatch it.

Trivia

• Contrary to the original timeline, Jerry fights back against the protagonist, using its own unique set of attacks.
• A line of dialogue during the anime tournament implies that it still lives with its mother[1].
